Samuel Abreu
Samuel Abreu has been working with dogs for as long as he can remember, developing a natural intuition for how they think, communicate, and learn. His passion for canine behavior began early, when he gained hands-on experience working alongside military dogs. These formative years taught him the value of structure, consistency, and trust—principles that continue to shape his training philosophy today.
About SAMUEL
Who is Samuel Abreu?
In addition to his canine experience, Samuel spent two summers working at a nonprofit organization supporting children on the autism spectrum. This role strengthened his patience, empathy, and ability to adapt his communication style to meet individual needs. The skills he developed there deeply influence his approach to both dogs and their owners, helping him create environments that feel safe, predictable, and encouraging.
Today, Samuel brings that same depth of understanding to Sit Happens, where he focuses on behavior-based, relationship-driven training. He loves digging into the “why” behind a dog’s behavior and using those insights to design effective, personalized training plans that set each dog-and-owner team up for success.
Whether he’s helping a puppy build confidence, guiding an adult dog through new skills, or addressing more complex behavioral challenges, Samuel strives to make every session educational, engaging, and enjoyable.
Dedicated, thoughtful, and passionate about helping dogs and people connect, Samuel works to ensure that training is not just a process—but a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
