Alex is a retired Navy veteran who brings over 12 years of experience as a dog trainer. His journey began with training working dogs in patrol, detection, and obedience, giving him a solid foundation in understanding canine behavior.

Who is Alex Abreu?

After his Navy service, Alex shifted his focus to helping fellow veterans by becoming a lead service dog trainer, specializing in assisting those with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and MST. His passion for helping others led him to earn a Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences and crisis management, blending his military background with advanced knowledge in behavior.

In addition to his work with service dogs, Alex is also an experienced behavioral therapist in ABA therapy, supporting individuals with special needs in special education. His approach to dog training is all about building trust between owners and their pets, creating a confident and harmonious home environment.
