Ken’s love for dogs started before he could even walk, and it’s been his calling ever since. Born and raised in Chicagoland, he moved to Florida after marrying his best friend in 2011 and now calls Jacksonville home. Today, he manages Sit Happens Dog Training, making sure every family gets the support and results they deserve.

Who is Ken Wille?
Ken’s heart has always been with animals, whether that means stopping traffic to help a turtle cross the road or being late to work to make sure a lost dog finds safety. He’s always had up to three dogs at a time, sometimes more when fostering, and has been hands-on in their training since he was 12.
Ken attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering and served in the United States Army Cavalry during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He then built a successful management career, including seven years managing FedEx Office and three years with Panera Bread, along with other leadership roles where he led teams of more than 100 people.
Ken joined Sit Happens to pursue his lifelong passion, becoming a certified dog trainer and spending several years working one-on-one with families and their dogs. Today, he brings that hands-on training experience together with his business background as manager, supporting the trainers and making sure every client receives clear communication, dependable service, and a training plan that fits their family. He believes in using love and positivity with dogs, and brings the same strong work ethic and military discipline to helping families enjoy better lives with their dogs.

Alex is a retired Navy veteran who brings over 12 years of experience as a dog trainer. His journey began with training working dogs in patrol, detection, and obedience, giving him a solid foundation in understanding canine behavior.

Justin Durham
Justin is a Jacksonville native born and raised. His love for animals started at a young age, spending much of his childhood outdoors around a variety of animals. He enjoys helping owners build stronger relationships with their dogs, creating better communication, greater confidence, and a more enjoyable life together.
